“How could this be? Those two were telling the truth then?” Ling Huang muttered to himself.

“You’re correct.” Ling Huang nodded, no bothering to hide anything.

Someone came to notify Ling Huang of a new occurrence before the old man knew what Lu Xuan meant. It turned out, the two whom he chased away had returned, and worse still, they barged in.
All of the bodyguards found on the premise were unable to those two down.

You’re blessed that he is interested in your daughter. If you disagree with the proposal, we’re afraid that your daughter will eventually end up being completely devoured by the curse, with nothing but her skin left. She will be quite a waste by then.”
“You…” Ling Huang was shaking with anger. “You people are out of your damn mind! What you’re doing is against the law!”
“Hahaha, it looks like you’re still not getting it, President Ling. Do you really think laws meant to govern common folks apply to us?” That man with sharp features burst out laughing. He sounded vigorous, a testament to his formidable cultivation level. “Our young master is getting very impatient now. Seeing how you’re the father of the wife of our future master, we shall bear with it for a little longer. But if you insist on going against our will, then don’t blame us for doing it the hard way. The outcome will hardly differ, after all, as our young master will still get what he wants.”
