“I apologize. I didn’t mean to look into you. I just didn’t want to give up. After all… I was hoping that it wasn’t true.” The woman did not try to hide her bitter smile in front of Shu Yan. “Why do you think men are like that? Did I not treat him nice enough?”

“What should I call you? I am Shu Yan.” Shu Yan changed the subject.
“Oh, pardon me. Let me introduce myself. My name is Hu Ruixue. I have learned of your story. I can share mine to make up to you.”

Hu Ruixue was the one who needed a listener, but somehow, she was able to find such a reason to justify it. That being said, the woman in front of her looked like she was about to have a nervous breakdown any given minute. Shu Yan supposed she could spare a few minutes to listen to her story.
