She did that for a few times and felt that it felt slightly better when she had the towel over them but not so much afterward. She figured she’d just bear through it.
The pain only subsided slowly after three days. But her face was horrible to look at. There were patches of black stuck all over it and she could not walk out of her house without a mask on.
Shu Yan looked for Zhang Huaxiu at the little district and told her that she wouldn’t be going over to the shop in the next couple of days until some of the scabs were gone. She didn’t want to scare away the customers.
Toward the afternoon, the lady at the grocery store came over and told her that Xiuxiu was looking for her. Shu Yan found out that Boss Zhang was trying to get in touch with her.
