This was originally a three bedroom + living and dining room design. During the remodeling, Shu Yan had them block out an extra room next to the living room. She had planned to have it as a storage room but now she was going to clean it out so it could be used as the room for the nanny.
Luckily, she asked for a window during the remodeling for air circulation; otherwise, it might be quite unpleasant to live in it.
This room was only 5 m2 in size. It was 2 meters wide and 2.5 meters deep. With a 1.2 meters bed, it could still fit a nightstand. During the remodeling, Shu Yan had built-in closets put in on both sides for storage purposes. She would give one side for the nanny to use.
She needed to go buy the bed and the nightstand. She would also need to add some curtains. Threw on the sheets and the room would be ready.
She had just finished cleaning up when the door bell rang. Shu Yan saw a woman following behind Zhang-jie. Shu Yan studied the woman behind Zhang-jiesubtly. Had Zhang-jie didn’t tell her ahead of time that she was 39, Shu Yan would think she was 59 years old.

Shu Yan was looking for a nanny, not a beauty competition. She didn’t care too much how the woman looked. As long as she was a hard worker, clean, and a good cook, she would be happy.
