Chapter 2971: A Detailed Explanation of the Profundity of the Law
In the library of the Imperial Palace of the Solitary Nation.
Duan Ling Tian and Liu Guang Lin entered the library after disclosing their identities to the guards.
“Guang Lin, you don’t have to follow me around. You can look at whatever piqued your interest in the library,” Duan Ling Tian said when he discovered Liu Guang Lin’s eyes had lit up upon seeing the books, Memory Celestial Talismans, and Floating Image Pearls in the library.

There were countless books, Memory Celestial Talismans, and Floating Image Pearls in the library that it would take years to completely go through every one of them. Since Duan Ling Tian and Liu Guang Lin only had roughly a day to spend in the library, they could only select a few things to go through.
Duan Ling Tian wandered aimlessly in the aisles before an old and quaint book caught his attention.
“A Detailed Explanation of the Profundity of The Law?” Duan Ling Tian picked up the tattered book and looked at its title. Only its cover and a few front pages were intact. Most of the contents were barely legible. Despite its condition, it did not stop Duan Ling Tian from reading it since it was about the power of the laws. Most importantly, it included the different profundities in the law of earth.
The Earth Element Profundity, or the earth element, was the Fundamental Profundity of the law of earth. It was different from other profundities such as the Gravitational Space, the Ground Escape Technique, the Vibration, and the Recovery. These were just a small number of profundities in the law of earth that Duan Ling Tian managed to make out from the pages of the tattered book.
The Fire Elemental Profundity, or the fire element, was the Fundamental Profundity of the law of fire. Other profundities in the law of fire included the Explosion, the Erosion, and the Fire Escape Technique.
The page regarding the law of gold was the worst of all. Duan Ling Tian could only see the words ‘Gold Elemental Profundity’ and ‘the Golden Body Technique’ on the page.
The page regarding the law of wind was rather complete. It contained seven or eight profundities in the law of wind.
Despite the state of the book, Duan Ling Tian managed to glean many pieces of information about different types of Profundities from different types of elements. There were the law of wood, water, light, darkness, ice, and thunder as well. Due to its worn-out state, he mostly learned about the Fundamental Profundities for different laws.

Duan Ling Tian closed the book and his eyes as he tried to digest the information he just gained. These were valuable insights that provided him with a further understanding of the profundities of the laws.
The profundities of the laws were powers that belonged to heaven and earth. One could put it to use after comprehending the profundities. Not only did the elemental laws have Fundamental Profundities, but there were other profundities in the elemental laws that were divided into the rudimentary stage, the initial stage, and the mastery stage as well.

“I thought you’ll spend all day comprehending the Fundamental Profundity of the Celestial Method you received,” Huang Jia Long said with a smile. Then, he shook his head and lamented, “It’s said that Fundamental Profundities are easier to comprehend compared to other profundities. Alas, I still can’t comprehend much of it even after spending a day and a night on it.”
Huang Yuan Fei grunted before he said, “You expect to comprehend the Fundamental Profundity of the law of wind, the Wind Elemental Profundity, in a day and a night? I don’t think there’s anyone talented enough to do that in the entire Profound Nether Mansion!”
Huang Jia Long smiled bitterly. He did not expect his casual remarks would invite ridicule from his father. He comforted himself inwardly. ‘He must be jealous of his son for being able to comprehend the power of a law.’

At this moment, a loud voice rang in the air. “Governor Huang! Old Mo!” Soon after, a tall and muscular figure walked into sight. It was the Commander of the Solitary Nation, He Feng.

Huang Yuan Fei and Old Mo nodded in response.
He Feng’s eyes swept past Duan Ling Tian and Huang Jia Long after he greeted Huang Yuan Fei and Old Mo. He asked in confusion when he discovered Bai Gang’s absence, “Where’s Bai Gang?”
“He has returned to the Flying Tiger clan’s clan branch with Senior Bai Zhen Yue,” Huang Yuan Fei replied.
