Chapter 1100 - I Just Need A Little Space In Her Life...
After freshening up and being ready in night pajamas, Lu Feng came out of the room, and the caretaker came there.
"2nd young master, food is ready."
"Bring it to Lu Lijun's room," Lu Feng instructed and went to Lu Lijun.
Lu Lijun was standing at the window even after he freshened up and wore the clothes given by his elder brother.
Lu Feng went to him and took the towel from Lu Lijun that he still held in his hand.
"Do you want to catch a cold?" Lu Feng asked and put that towel on Lu Lijun's head to dry his hair.
Lu Lijun quietly let him do it. He was reticent.
"Instead of thinking about what you had done, you should think about what to do afterward," Lu Feng commented.
"I am scared that she wouldn't want to see me," Lu Lijun answered as Lu Feng let go of his hair.
"So, will you give up?"
"I can't. I can't imagine if....." Lu Lijun stopped, "...I just want her to be around me."
Lu Feng understood what he meant and spoke, "Then be patient and calm. Whatever happens, be ready to face it. With Yuyan, nothing would go easy. You should understand her situation too. She still....."
"I know. She still loves my elder brother," Lu Lijun added. "I don't want her to forget him. When I can't forget him, then how can I expect her to? I just need little space in her life."
Lu Feng patted Lu Lijun's shoulder, "That's good."
Just then, there was a knock on the door, and the caretaker entered the room carrying a big size tray filled with food.
"Let's eat now. From tomorrow you will need more energy," Lu Feng spoke.
As they sat in the chair, Lu Lijun asked, "Does she reach?"
"Hmm, close to home now."
Lu Lijun looked like he wanted to ask more about her as he clearly looked worried, but Lu Feng spoke. "We will return home tomorrow so you can see her."
With a heavy heart, Lu Lijun had food as the silence took over the room.
Lu Feng was about to leave the room to go to his, but Lu Lijun called for him.
"Elder brother."
Lu Feng turned to look at him.
Lu Lijun hugged him. "Thank you for being with me, or I don't know what I would have done."
Lu Feng hugged him back. "It's fine. Go sleep now."

The following day, having breakfast, Lu Lijun and Lu Feng left. When they reached home, the elders and their two sons were in the living room after breakfast.
They were relieved to see Lu Lijun.
"Finally, you are back. Come to grandpa," said elder Lu.
Lu Jinhai didn't react, and Lu Chen signaled his brother, saying it's fine.
Quiet Lu Lijun went to his grandpa. Elder Lu stood up and hugged him as he patted his back tightly.
"It takes courage to do what you want even if it's a bit late. So don't worry about it. That engagement was nothing in front of my grandson's happiness."
Lu Lijun had no words to say as all he expected to see the disappointment for him in everyone's eyes and to get an earful.
Elder Lu looked at Lu Jinhai. "You better not trouble him."
"I won't, father, but he needs to apologize to Liwei and Wen's family."
"I'll do it," Lu Lijun said, and elder Lu again said pridefully, "That's a good decision. We hurt someone; it's right to apologize for."
Lu Lijun's eyes searched for someone who was not there.
"Grandpa, where is Yuyan?" Lu Feng asked.
Lu Jinhai sighed, "Thanks to my son, she has to go through troubles, and now she is sick."
It worried Lu Lijun. Not waiting for a moment, Lu Lijun stepped to go to the second floor to Jiang Yuyan's room.
Lu Feng let him be and asked, "What happened?"
"She went to search for Lu Lijun and seemed to be drenched in the rain. When the servant went to call her for breakfast, she found her unconscious in her room," Lu Jinhai replied.
"What did the doctor say?"
"Doctor is checking her."
Lu Feng too, went to the second floor.
When Lu Lijun reached the second floor, he went to Jiang Yuyan's room where the doctor talked to Ning Jiahui and Jiang Yuyan was sleeping.
She looked pale and weak. He went to her bed.
"How is she?" Lu Lijun asked as the worry painted his face.
"For now, not so good. She has a high fever. If it doesn't go down till noon, we have to admit her to the hospital."
Lu Lijun glared at the doctor, "Why are you waiting till noon? Take her to the hospital, or should I do it on my own?"
The doctor was taken aback by this sudden change in the young man who looked calm when he entered the room.
"Lu Lijun, the doctor knows what's good for the patient," Ning Jiahui countered.
Just then, Lu Feng came there. "Your mother is right, Lu Lijun."
Lu Lijun was already guilty that she was sick because of him, and he didn't know how to make up for it.
The doctor left, and Lu Lijun sat in the chair as he kept looking at Jiang Yuyan with his worry-filled eyes.
"Are you fine?" finally, Ning Jiahui asked her son.
Lu Lijun nodded. "I'll stay here," he informed.
"You don't need to. I am here," said Ning Jiahui.
"Mother can take care of other things in the home," said Lu Lijun coldly.
Lu Feng didn't want Jiang Yuyan to see Lu Lijun when she woke up, or he didn't know how she would react.
"Lu Lijun, let aunty be here," said Lu Feng, trying his luck with the cold guy where he was not sure if Lu Lijun would listen to him.
"I won't repeat," said Lu Lijun.
His behavior didn't feel right to Ning Jiahui. One moment he looked calm, while the next moment suddenly turned cold.
She looked at Lu Feng, who himself looked worried but hid it. He assured Ning Jiahui to let him be.
"Look after her then. If she wakes up," Ning Jiahui instructed and left with Lu Feng.
