Ming Lan returned home late when no one was awake. As expected Ming Rusheng didn't return home and she could only worry for him. Wen Zac dropped Lu Lian home and went to the hospital to see his grandma. She was the only comfort he had thought he would not share anything with her.
When Lu Lian entered her room, there was a knock on the door. Lu Lian thought it must be her mother as she was late but it was Jiang Yuyan. Seeing Lu Lian with Wen Zac at the party, Jiang Yuyan said nothing at that time but she felt things were going the wrong way now she had to talk to Lu Lian.
Though Jiang Yuyan had her people to be around Lu Lian, it's only for her security purpose and not to check on her private matters. Her men only kept watch on her from a distance and there was nothing they would report to Jiang Yuyan unless it was something really serious that concerned Li Lian's security. Jiang Yuyan didn't wish to invade her privacy as Lu Lian was one mature woman who could decide things in her life.
"Yuyan!" Lu Lian said in a little shock. Lu Lian knew she couldn't hide anything from Jiang Yuyan and now as she was there, she didn't know how to explain anything..
"Are you fine?" Yuyan asked and stepped inside the room.
Lu Lian just nodded and didn't know what more to say.
"Get fresh first. I will wait here," Jiang Yuyan instructed.
Lu Lian went to freshen up and when she returned, she saw Jiang Yuyan still waiting in her room sitting in the chair.
Jiang Yuyan looked at Lu Lian who clearly looked lost. Jiang Yuyan stood up and instructed, "Sit there."
Lu Lian obediently sat on the stool in front of the dressing table. Inside she was worried about what Jiang Yuyan would say to her.
Jiang Yuyan took the small white towel from Lu Lian's hand who sat with her head lowered down. Jiang Yuyan looked at her through the mirror and started to dry her hair.
"Are you serious about Mr. Wen?"
Lu Lian gulped but didn't dare look at her. "I am trying to…."
"Are you sure you can do it?" Jiang Yuyan asked.
"I will try my best…"
Jiang Yuyan sighed, "Just forgive Ming Rusheng. He has been repenting for it for so many years already. There is no need to hold on to past mistakes. If Lu Qiang was here, he would have happily given his sister to a person like Ming Rusheng given the kind of person he is now."
Lu Lian sat quietly and Jiang Yuyan spoke again, "Did you hear me?"
"Yuyan, I can't. When I look at him, I just remember what he told me that day and what he did."
He just confessed to you and trust me it must not be easy for him either. It takes too much strength to say something that would make us lose the person. Instead of hiding it, he chose to say it."
Lu Lian looked at Jiang Yuyan, "Did you ever hide something from someone in a fear of losing them?"
After a short pause, Jiang Yuyan nodded, "That's why I can understand how difficult it must be for Ming Rusheng."
"But I don't want to understand," Lu Lian retorted.
"Take your time but don't take too long that you will regret it later," Jiang Yuyan said.
"I won't regret it," she said firmly but inside she was shaking.
"You know, you are like your two brothers. So I know how stubborn you can be and to what extent you can go when you are angry."
Lu Lian had nothing to say. Well, she liked her brothers and why not as they shared the same blood- The blood which holds all the traits that make one stubborn as mountain Tai which is difficult to shake.
"Think before you do something. Talk to Ming Rusheng at least once," Jiang Yuyan advised.
Lu Lian could only nod and Jiang Yuyan could not help but feel worried.
"Sleep early," instructing her, Jiang Yuyan left as she thought, 'I need to talk to Ming Rusheng.'
Jiang Yuyan went to her. Lu Lijun was supposed to return that night but he didn't. Not like she missed him but she was just worried. Whatever happened she couldn't stop worrying about anyone in the family.
She dialed Xiao Min's number, "When is he returning?"
"It was supposed to be today but the Fourth Young master went to another city and didn't tell when exactly he would return."
Jiang Yuyan hung up the call and frowned, "So irresponsible!"

The next day was silent and everyone was busy in their things though they were home as it was saturday.
Lu Bao, who was trying to get an update about the previous party from Ming Lan, didn't receive her call. 'What's wrong with this girl?' Lu Bao mumbled and called Lu Lian to her room as she couldn't climb the stairs to go to her.
When Lu Lain arrived, instead of resting, Lu Bao was walking here and there in her room. "You should not go here and there. Now you can deliver a baby anytime."
"More than that, I am worried about you."
"Me?" Lu Lian helped walk inside and sit in the chair.
"Ming Lan has not received my call since yesterday. What happened?"
"She must be busy," Lu Lian didn't tell the truth.
"I doubt."
"You are not in a condition to worry about others, understood," Lu Lian warned.
Lu Bao glared at her. "Then others should act accordingly to not make me feel worried."
Lu Lian could say nothing and asked, "I will get water for you."
Lu Bao nodded, "Suddenly I am feeling thirsty."
Just as Lu Lian turned to get water she heard the painful whining sound from Lu Bao and immediately turned around only to see Lu Boa holding her belly, looking like in pain.
She went to her and Lu Bao spoke in a painful voice, "See because of the worry for you, my baby wants to come out early to scold you...Ahhh….call the doctor now."
Lu Lian immediately went out and informed others. The ambulance and two nurses were already arranged for her and she was taken to the hospital.
