Chapter 549 Promise Between Brothers...
Jiang Yuyan didn't know what to think about it. She felt in aww for this kid who followed the instruction given to him so strictly.
"It's fine if you come to the room. Don't take it so seriously." Jiang Yuyan offered him.
"Hmm! He nodded and continued "I have a new game to play. This one is the latest version of the one we played last time and I am sure you will like it."
Agreeing, she asked, "Have you done with your studies?"
"In 10 mins."
"I thought you were studying for an hour."
"My brain works faster unlike someone here. Remaining time I used to tidy up my room as you were coming here and setting this entire setup so you can play it comfortably."
Smiling, Jiang Yuyan messed up his hair with her fingers. Like always, she was about to say just like his elder brother but stopped and thought 'I should think nothing as he will know what I am thinking.'
Setting his messed up hair back, he spoke. "You better not and instead focus on playing games. I need tough competition."
"Sigh. you guessed it too." She couldn't believe him.
"Your expressions are so obvious." She said nothing and instead got ready to play a game. Arguing with him meant she will only lose it.
Both enjoyed playing games for the next hour.
"Finally I beat you," she said excitedly.
"Out of so many games, you could finally win at least one, congrats." This looks like a sarcastic remark, more than praise. What could she expect from this little iceberg?
She thought about something and asked, "Did you let me win intentionally like last time?"
"Why? Do you doubt your ability?" He cross-questioned.
"No, I just asked as I wanted to be sure."
"I was tired of winning so my tiredness made me lose the game."
"That means you let me win."
"No! You were consistent while I was tired, so you won because of your determination. Being consistent is not an easy thing, you know."
She looked at him thinking 'Again he is talking like a mature guy. How can he think so wise at such a young age?'
'You need not think about it," he said and she frowned at herself. "Not again. I am tired. No more games," she said as she yawned.
"You should go back to your room and sleep."
"Hmm!."
"But we missed dinner so have it and then go back to your room. I asked the butler uncle to bring it here."
"I didn't realize. Now I think, I am hungry."
Just then there was a knock on the door and the servant brought the dinner for them. Both were starving and ate till their stomach could stop from exploding. When Jiang Yuyan started to clean the table, Lu Lijun stopped her. "I will do it."
He noticed how tired and sleepy she was as if she would doze off at any moment. Nodding, she got up from the chair around the coffee table and noticed one book on Lu Lijun's bed. Being curious, she went there and picked up a book to check it while sitting on the edge of the bed.
Lu Lijun was busy cleaning the coffee table and called the servant to take back the dishes. The servant came and Lu Lijun handed him over the stuff at the door. When he turned around, he saw Jiang Yuyan dozed off in his bed with a book in her hand.
He pinched the space between his brows as he saw her sleeping in his bed. She was not sleeping in a comfortable position too. Her legs were half hanging out from the bed while her head was resting on the pillow.
Lu Lijun went to her and took back the book from her hands. He put her legs back on the bed and covered her with a quilt. Turning off the lights in the room, the little guy left the room and went to the north wing of the mansion on the same floor.
He knocked on the door and he heard a voice asking him to come inside. It was in Lu Feng's room.
"Brother, Lu Feng, Can I sleep with you?" Lu Lijun asked as he entered the room.
This sudden thing surprised Lu Feng, who was sitting on the couch working on his laptop.
"You can but can I ask the reason?"
"Yuyan fell asleep in my bed so I came here."
"Hmm! You did well. Saying Lu Feng turned off his laptop and offered, "Let's go to sleep then."

The next morning, Jiang Yuyan woke up and it surprised her to think she was not in her room. "I slept here." She looked around to check for Lu Lijun, but he was not there. She went to her room and came downstairs at the time of breakfast.
In the living room, she came across Lu Lijun, who was with Lu Feng. "Where were you, Lu Lijun? When I woke up, I didn't see you."
"I slept in brother Lu Feng's room as someone took over my bed."
"I-I am sorry. I didn't realize when I….."
"It's okay. I was pulling your leg."
She looked at Lu Feng and greeted him too.
"On the breakfast table, Lu Lijun was sitting in Lu Qiang's chair, doing his duty what he supposed to do when his brother was not around, paying attention to Jiang Yuyan's dish and filling her dish from time to time with the food."
"Lu Lijun, I am fine. You take care of your own breakfast." Jiang Yuyan said in a low voice that other than Lu Lijun only Lu Feng heard it as he was sitting near to them and next to Lu Lijun's original chair.
"I don't eat like one squirrel who keeps digging into food as if she has a big hole in her stomach." Lu Lijun said and it angered her but she stayed silent, not willing to argue with him at the breakfast table and let elders witness their argument.
Seeing her frowning, Lu Lijun said, "I am doing what I promised elder brother and you have no say in it. It's about the promise between the two brothers."
"What can I say now? Serve me the veggies then." Saying she waited for him to serve her, though the dish of veggies was just in front of her.
Without complaining, Lu Lijun did it as it was about his promise to his brother.
