Chapter 588 Going to Surprise...
The next day was Saturday and everyone would be home but Lu Qiang had to go to the office as it was something important related to the new project he was working on which targeted the western countries and their market.
He had an important meeting with people related to the project and most of them came from other countries, so it was important to attend it.
When he was planning to go out, Jiang Yuyan was still waiting for him to open his laptop and read the envelope of the reports kept there, but everything was happening opposite to what she wished for.
Since they woke up, he was after taking care of her and instructing her what she should do and what she should not and didn't think about his work.
Giving up on her plan once again, she gave out a deep sigh and thought to call Nixxxie.
"I can't find my cell phone," she said and Lu Qiang, who was going to the bathroom to get a shower heard her. He picked up his cellphone and passed it to her. "Use mine," and went to get a shower.
Nixxxie was having breakfast with the Jiang family when she got the call. Seeing the unknown number, she excused herself to receive it.
"Hello!"
When Jiang Yuyan was about to speak, she heard the familiar voices from the other side of the line, her brother and two more people. They were conversing and in between there were voices of laughing, especially the laughing voice of her mother.
"Are my parents in China?" Jiang Yuyan asked, knowing Nixxxie was staying with her brother.
Nixxxie recognized her voice just exclaimed, "Yuyan!" She immediately lowered her voice to not let others hear it.
Nixxxie felt she was in trouble as she almost spoiled the plan of Yuyan's parents to surprise her.
"Nixx, am I right?" Jiang Yuyan asked to confirm it.
Nixxxie went away from the rest of the three and spoke in a low voice. "I am sorry, Yuyan. I spoiled your surprise."
"That means they are there, right?"
"Hmm! But please act as you don't know about it. They are so excited to surprise you," Nixxxie pleaded.
Something clicked in Jiang Yuyan's mind and she said while smiling, "Don't worry, instead of them, I will give them a surprise."
"What?" Nixxxie exclaimed again as she was feeling guilty for exposing the secret.
"I am coming there, just don't tell them." Saying, Jiang Yuyan cut the call and got out of the bed just to go to the bathroom and knocked on the door, "I am coming inside."
Before she could hear Lu Qiang, Jiang Yuyan opened the door of the bathroom and entered inside. She saw Lu Qiang was standing under the shower, completely naked and thought, 'This hot man, sad that I am not in a condition to pounce on him'.
"Why are you in such a hurry?" he asked, wiping the water from his face, especially eyes.
It didn't stop Jiang Yuyan and taking off the clothes she went to him, "Give me side."
Lu Qiang gave her side to stand under the shower with him and helped her bath, not trying to do anything naughty.
She was looking at him and said, "I am surprised that you are not doing anything with me. Seems like I lost my charm."
"It's because you are not well and my actions might harm you, so you better not provoke me," Lu Qiang warned her and she didn't provoke him further, knowing she was pregnant now and it would be bad for her and her baby.
When they came out, Jiang Yuyan sat in front of the dressing table and informed him, "I am going to my parent's home."
"Are you going to disturb your brother and his romantic life?" Lu Qiang asked, drying Jiang Yuyan's hair while standing behind her, white towel wrapped around his waist.
"It has already been disturbed by my parents," she commented.
"Oh, so finally you know it."
She gave him a narrowed eyes look through the mirror and asked, "So, you already knew about it?"
"Hmm!" He nodded.
"Why didn't you tell me?" she asked.
"Your parents planned a surprise for you and I didn't want to spoil it."
"But now I will give them a surprise," she declared.
"You are not well. Be home."
"I am not that kind of sick who can't go out home so please don't stop me."
As she insisted, Lu Qiang didn't stop her. "Okay!"
Jiang Yuyan was leaving before Lu Qiang, as Lu Qiang had time for his meeting. When she was busy getting ready, Lu Qiang dialed a number of San Zemin.
"What's the status?" he asked.
"I got the information that they might make a move next week," San Zemin replied.
"Hmm!"
San Zemin continued, "Still I will suggest you be home until we get the whole information and if there is something, you would be safe as long as you are inside your car. If they try guns, it's already bullet proof and won't be able to harm."
Lu Qiang's car was one of the high-end cars, which was modified into the better one to keep him safe inside the car. Not just his car, but the other family member's cars were modified too, unknown to them.
"Mrs. Lu is getting out of the mansion to meet her parents, today. You know what to do." Lu Qiang informed him.
"Don't worry, we are keeping the track of every vehicle in Lu Mansion. Our men are monitoring everyone. Also, we have already made the best modifications in Mrs. Lu's car as you have instructed." San Zemin assured Lu Qiang.
"Hmm!"
Lu Qiang hung up the call, not asking much as he knew he could leave things to San Zemin to take care of and he didn't need to worry.
Getting ready, both went downstairs for breakfast. Seeing her in the living room, Ning Jiahui asked, "How are you feeling now, Yuyan?"
"I am feeling better, mother."
"Good to know it."
"I will visit my parents today," Jiang Yuyan thought it would be better to inform others too as she was the daughter-in-law of the house.
