He took a handkerchief and wiped away the footprint mark with disgust.
While his head was lowered, Fang Xinxin held up her phone and spoke to Bai Qinghao. “This cafe isn’t too bad. Let’s have a date. I’ll wait for you here.”
Fang Xinxin directed the camera at the cafe’s signboard for several seconds.
When Bai Qinghao nodded in response, she turned to head inside the cafe.
After wiping down his clothes, Bai Chenxi lifted his head to see Fang Xinxin’s back view. He assumed that she had gone ahead to wait for him inside, and his expression turned sinister.
This bitch, after pretending to be aloof, still couldn’t give up on the opportunity to have a date with him.
Fang Xinxin entered the cafe and sat at the table nearest to the window.
Bai Chenxi spoke up in dissatisfaction. “Xinxin, why are you sitting here? There are a lot of private rooms in this cafe. Let’s head into one.”
It seemed like he couldn’t run away from letting this ugly and fat woman have a taste of sweetness.
He planned on sacrificing a bit of himself tonight, and to let her take advantage of him. Only by doing so, she would become fully devoted to helping him.
Fang Xinxin was too lazy to respond to him.
From her phone, she saw that Bai Qinghao was already in a car.
Bai Chenxi saw that Fang Xinxin did not respond and continued. “This is an open area. It’s not very convenient. If we head into a private room, it would be easier for us to touch each other.”
He mouthed the last few words silently, mindful of the waiter approaching.
As a well-mannered man, he would never say something so indecent in a public space.
A female waitress approached them. “Welcome. May I know, what would the two of you like to order?”
Fang Xinxin replied mildly. “We’re not together. For now, I’m taking this seat. Give me a cup of Brazilian black coffee.”
This was Bai Qinghao’s favourite drink.
In her previous life, she had been married to Bai Qinghao for many years. Yet, she remained largely clueless when it came to his likes and dislikes. She was truly a failure as his wife.

The word ‘milk’ suddenly appeared in the chat box beneath their video call.
She understood that he was stopping her from drinking coffee in the middle of the night, and asking her to order a glass of milk, instead.

Fang Xinxin was happy to follow her idol’s command. She turned back to the waiter. “Forget it. Change the coffee to a glass of milk. Please serve some small snacks along with it.”
“All right.”
The waiter turned to Bai Chenxi. “Sir, what about you?”
From Bai Chenxi’s angle, it only seemed like Fang Xinxin was busy with her phone. Never in his wildest dreams, would he have guessed that she was in the middle of a call with Bai Qinghao.
He pulled the chair and sat down across her. “Pu’er tea.”

Fang Lilan parked her car at a carpark not too far away. She alighted and crossed the street to see that Bai Chenxi and Fang Xinxin were sitting at the same table.
She immediately scoffed. “Fang Xinxin, that bitch! She claimed that she didn’t like Bai Chenxi. Pretending to be apathetic, she must be elated deep down!”
She brought her phone out and dialed Bai Qinghao.
In the backseat of the black alligator SUV, the chauffeur was currently rushing toward Yue Ya Cafe. Bai Qinghao noticed the call from Fang Lilan and frowned.
He had two phones, one for public use and one for private.
Unimportant people like Fang Lilan and Fang Manxue would only have access to his public phone number.
