"Wow...look! Look there, the lake...the lake is..." one of the younger guests shouted gathering everyone attention to the lake. Once the guests saw what’s going on, they were all stunned. Too stunned to even say something.
"This..." Li Shi Ying’s eyes widened in surprise. No wonder the emperor had a good reputation regarding every banquet he held. This...was simply too beautiful!
What Li Shi Ying and the others saw was a sudden light coming from the lake. The initially black, dark lake suddenly lit up in faint blue colour. The whole lake glow as if the water itself was glowing.
"That..is that lotus?" One of the guests with keen eyes saw a lot of lotus floating on the lake. The lotus had yellow and white light really match the faint blue glow of the lake water.
"That is indeed lotus and look! There’s a glass bridge!" Another guest pointed his finger to the sudden appearance of a large glass bridge glowing in white light.
The bridge was really like any normal bridge but this one was flat to the water lake so anyone who steps on it would felt as if they were stepping on the water itself.
"How the hell the lake glows up?" Li Shi Ying tugged on Long Ao Zhen’s sleeves as her eyes fixed on the lake. The blue glow of the lake water wasn’t too bright making it friendly to the eyes. In the midst of the dark night, the lake shone so beautifully.
If they looked closer they would also see so many lotus flowers glowing in a faint light. The lake was suddenly changed into a magical lake like in any fantasy movie.
