“With your work nature and what happened to your cousin, your family should be worried about you. If I go back with you, they will rest assured.” Han Zhuofeng stated the reasons.
Xie Jiling had just realized that he still remembered what she said about her cousin.
It was because he remembered clearly that he knew her family would care and be worried about her.
That was why he wanted to go there. It was all to reassure her family.
She would not be taken advantage of in B City.
Nobody would hurt her.

There was only one thing that she was unsure about.
If Han Zhuofeng were to go, she would definitely have to tell her family beforehand.

She came in the afternoon, and she hadn’t seen Han Zhuofeng leave the production crew.
After the shooting was done, the two had been together the whole time.
“At noon,” explained Han Zhuofeng, smiling, “After calling you at noon and when you agreed to come, I immediately returned to the hotel and got a room.”
“Isn’t that a lot of work? It would have been if you had gotten it after I arrived,” said Xie Jiling.
“It’s fine.” Han Zhuofeng didn’t mind it.
The two walked into the elevator.
There were so many people on the production crew.
Everyone left the restaurant together.
However, when they returned to the hotel, they didn’t meet a single person from the production crew.
It was unclear whether everyone came back first or they were still out.
But they should at least see one person, right?
Only the two of them were in the elevator.
Xie Jiling had no idea what was going on, but Han Zhuofeng knew.
Back in the restaurant, the assistant director sent him a WeChat message secretly.

As such, everyone came back slower than them.

There were only two of them in the lift. Han Zhuofeng lowered his head slightly and looked at Xie Jiling beside him.
She was tiny, and she looked well-behaved.

His fingers slowly inched toward Xie Jiling.

Han Zhuofeng blushed as he said, “We’re already dating, so it’s fine if we hold hands, right?”
Xie Jiling laughed secretly, and she held Han Zhuofeng’s hand as well.
This time, it felt different from the last time.

She was holding her boyfriend’s hand.

When they exited the elevator, Han Zhuofeng walked her to the door of her room.

He stood at the door, saying, “We’re leaving at 5 to shoot with the production crew. If you think it’s too early, just stay in the hotel. I’ll come back to see you at noon when you’re awake.”
“I will follow you tomorrow,” said Xie Jiling immediately, “I don’t have anything to do anyway. If I wake up early, I can just sleep at the production site. “I’ll call you in the morning, then,” said Han Zhuofeng, “I didn’t manage to get the room next to mine because it was occupied.”
Han Zhuofeng found it unfortunate.
Even though they wouldn’t be sleeping in the same room, if they were next to each other, he would be able to feel her.
“But I’m not that far from you; there are just about three rooms in between us,” said Han Zhuofeng.
“Okay.” Xie Jiling answered, and she had no idea why she said okay.
It wasn’t like she would go to his room, so why did she say okay?
“Goodnight, sleep early,” said Han Zhuofeng. But he did not let go of her hand.
It seemed like Xie Jiling didn’t realize it as well. “You, too.”
Han Zhuofeng looked at Xie Jiling without saying anything.
“Why?” asked Xie Jiling, curious.
“Can… can I… kiss you?” Han Zhuofeng explained immediately, “A goodnight kiss!”
Although Xie Jiling had never been in a relationship before, she had watched movies before.
In the movies, whenever a guy kissed a girl, the guy would never ask prior to doing it.
So. how should she answer?
However, Han Zhuofeng wasn’t that helpless.
Xie Jiling didn’t answer, so he assumed that Xie Jiling was fine with it.
He lowered his head and got closer. Then, he quickly pecked her lips.
He sucked his own lips, thinking that it was sweet.

“Because this is your first relationship, is this also your first kiss?” asked Xie Jiling.

So Han Zhuofeng went against his conscience and nodded. “Mmhmm.”

“I know.” Han Zhuofeng was also smiling.
The two smiled like idiots.
