Sharp winds blew as four old guys came out of nowhere. Their backs crooked, their eyes lidded, and sitting cross-legged before everyone.
The powerful auras coming off them made the army not dare take a step closer.
Luo Yunhai frowned, his heart tense as he clenched his fists. He never imagined the number of Demon Scheming Sect elders Zhuo Fan brought at the Main Hall would not make all the experts of this sect converge there. At least these four had stayed behind.
And from their vibes, they were in the Ethereal Stage. Yunhai was now pensive, unsure how to proceed.
Li Jingtian’s team looked from afar at the four and cried out, “Damn it, t-those are…”
The five shot for Luo Yunhai’s side, growing serious.
Luo Yunhai did not know the four’s power, since he was not at their stage to even feel it. But Li Jingtian found they were actually in the 9th layer of Ethereal Stage, just shy of reaching Soul Harmony Stage.

There was no way their weak Clan Head could even touch them.
Li Jingtian’s team of five rushed over at top speed, afraid their Clan Head would die the next second.
Zhuo Fan looked over and was worried for the first time, yet he did not have the chance to interfere. The long spear was coming for him once more.
With little choice in the matter, Zhuo Fan continued directing Almighty Scarlet Dragon King to flick its tail, sending it away. He turned around to go there, but he saw Sect Leader Xuan’s sinister smile.
“Humph, Zhuo Fan, if you had just escaped, with so many people showing the way, I had no way of stopping you. But you just had to be so greedy and started fighting. Now our four High Venerables came out, leaving you no chance of escape, ha-ha-ha…” Sect Leader Xuan cackled.
Zhuo Fan gave the four old guys a long look, “Four Ethereal Stage experts in the 9th layer sure are amazing, but only a smidgen better than Sect Leader’s 8th layer cultivation. And you think they’ll turn the battle around? Think again!”
“Ha-ha-ha, a smidgen you say? Zhuo Fan, then you don’t know much about western lands, do you? You have no idea of my sect’s power.” Sect Leader Xuan smirked, pointing at the four as he mocked, “Then feast your eyes on their power, ha-ha-ha…”
Zhuo Fan looked harder then his brow shook.
The four old guys still had their eyes closed, sitting there in midair.
They sat in a three meter circle spinning around. Each elder released a special glow, red, green, white, golden. As the four lights merged following a certain pace, it turned into a blinding earthen light.
Following the roar of a dragon, an earthen colored dragon flew around the four of them. The ground constantly shook, feeling like the rapids on a stormy sea.
The Radiant Stage and Profound Heaven cultivators couldn’t even sit straight. As the earthen glow shone, they felt their innards shake and started puking blood. Many of them had their eyes roll into their skull and dropped dead.
In a mere blink, thousands died. Yet the four old guys didn’t look like they moved at all, just sitting there as they moved in circle with eyes closed.
Luo Yunhai cried out, “Get in the air and away from those four! Don’t let their wave strike you!”
No one was a fool here and rushed into the air and away from the yellow curtain of light.
“Ha-ha-ha, why would us four care about bugs like you lot, as they scurry away? But this time you dared to invade Mystical Heaven Sect and came for the treasury! As the highest Venerables in the sect, the four of us can’t ignore this transgression!”
One elder smiled, making all of the four old guys change their signs they made. They finally moved, or more precise, their circle moved.
Even though they never cracked an eyelid, spinning around in a circle, the invisible circle formed felt more like a wide disk. It whooshed over the crowd and the yellow dragon looming overhead spun with them. But the powerful force made by the constant spinning slammed into everyone in its path.
No one had time to react as blood and gore flew every which way. The spinning yellow disk just went right through a group and mowed down thousands of people, reducing them to a bloody pulp. The disk made a return trip and thousands more received the same gruesome death.
In just one move, ten thousand people lay dead.
Everyone was too shocked to react, filled with fear as they watched the yellow disk.
Luo Yunhai was also overwhelmed. Seeing the disk so deadly, as it reaped through his men’s lives, his heart was panicking.
By the time he reacted, thirty thousand men were gone from this world. He shouted, “Break formation! Everyone flee! We can’t beat them! Save yourselves!”
He gave the Flying Tiger Army a signal and everyone scattered.
“Oh, the commander survived.” One old man smiled, sending the disk straight for Luo Yunhai this time.
Luo Yunhai rushed to flee. Yue’er and Kui Gang wanted to dodge but had no way of reacting to Ethereal Stage experts’ speeds.
In a blink, the disk was upon them. Feeling that raw fear its power sent, Kui Gang shook his head, “My poor life is now over. Just why did master have to attack Mystical Heaven Sect? Is it really just to teach them a lesson? It looks to me that we’re the one on the receiving end.”
Luo Yunhai did not speak, but his eyes were firm.
Even he didn’t know why Zhuo Fan wanted to do this, but since he planned for it, he would see it through to the end. This was the unflinching trust the Luo clan had for him.
